Programs for all ages and levels
Teniski klub Chromos's beginner training program involves working with all age groups, from 6 to 18 years old. For each age group, there is a training program tailored to the physical and mental characteristics of the participants. For the youngest age groups, we have introduced the play&stay method, which is in line with the work plans of the ITF and HTS. Working according to the principles of the play&stay method is based on the use of equipment adapted to the age of the participants. We use balls that are larger and softer than standard ones, lower nets and courts of smaller dimensions. The school employs exclusively professional staff with degrees from the Faculty of Kinesiology, who are constantly improving and further educating themselves through HTS seminars. The school operates throughout the calendar year, in summer on outdoor clay and concrete courts, and in winter under the bubble. Groups are formed based on initial skill level and age, and consist of 3 - 5 participants.
The competitive program is a continuation of the work that began in the tennis school, recognized by coaches and driven by players' desire to compete against tennis players of their own age. Work in this category is more intense and demanding, as it involves daily training sessions whose intensity far exceeds the requirements of the tennis school. The amount of training and frequency of tournament appearances are planned in accordance with the players' wishes. Work with competitors consists of both group and individual training, and alongside the technical aspect, attention is also devoted to the tactical side as well as the overall physical preparation of the players. The most successful cadets and juniors, according to the work plan, join the senior team, where, alongside more experienced players, they progress even faster and more effectively.
